                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1, 
                   CONTRACT NO. 46B-2, MURRAY HILLS COLLECTION 
                   SYSTEM II, WITH MAYSE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, 
                   WHICH CHANGE ORDER INCREASES THE CONTRACT BY 
                   THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED THIRTEEN THOUSAND, 
                   FOUR HUNDRED THIRTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS 
                   ($113,430.00) FOR A TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT OF 
                   ONE MILLION, TWENTY-THREE THOUSAND, EIGHT 
                   HUNDRED EIGHT AND 50/100 DOLLARS 
                   ($1,023,808.50) AND INCREASES THE CONTRACT 
                   COMPLETION DATE TO JANUARY 3, 1994.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
       Change Order No. 1, Contract No. 46B-2, Murray Hills Collection 
       System II, with Mayse Construction Company, which change order 
       increases the contract by the amount of $113,430.00, for a total 
       contract amount of $1,023,808.50, and increases the contract time 
       by 60 calendar days, changing the completion date to January 3, 
       1994.
